Redevelopment of RUSI Headquarters

We were delighted to tender and win The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) move recently. Over the next 18 months, their historic headquarters at 61 Whitehall are being renovated.

The modernisation programme will turn the classical building, designed for a 19th-century institution, into a state-of-the-art facility fit for a 21st-century think tank. This will include an upgraded communications equipment, upgraded library and additional space for events, including a state-of-the art conference, media and meeting rooms.

Founded in 1831 RUSI is the world’s oldest security think tank on international defence and security. Its mission is to inform, influence and enhance public debate on a safer and more stable world. RUSI is a research-led institute, producing independent, practical and innovative analysis to address today’s complex challenges.

Jacqui Grainger, Librarian for RUSI, was happy to validate the quality of our specialist library removal and storage services.

“Working with Jamie Briggs has been a delight: well-organised and supportive, their team provided the help I needed as a solo curatorial professional to safely pack and transport the RUSI collections to Upper Heyford.”
